elearning.vet ("we", "us") provides veterinary CPD content and membership services. This policy applies to the website, your account, and any content or tracking features described below. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.

We collect:

• Account information — name, email, professional role (e.g. vet, nurse/tech, practice admin), and membership tier
• Usage data — pages visited, content viewed or completed, and device/browser information
• Payment information — for paid tiers, handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card details ourselves
• Communications — messages you send us, including speaker or sponsor inquiries

When you complete a webinar, course, article or podcast, we record the content completed, the date, and the CPD hours associated with it, to maintain your completion history and generate certificates. This data is tied to your account and is visible to you at any time. We do not share your individual completion history with sponsors or third parties without your consent.

When you view our Speakers & Sponsors page, we record an impression for each sponsor shown, so sponsors can understand how often their listing is seen. This is aggregate visibility data (view counts) — it is not linked to your individual identity or account in a way that is shared with the sponsor.

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the Service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect functionality such as staying signed in.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and maintain your account, content access and certificates
• Track CPD hours and completion history against your profile
• Process payments for paid membership tiers
• Send service updates, and — where you've opted in — product or content emails
• Understand aggregate usage to improve content and the Service
• Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or security issues

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• Service providers who help us operate the platform (hosting, payments, email)
• Sponsors, only as aggregate impression data as described above
• Authorities, where required by law or to protect rights and safety
• A successor entity, in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale

We retain your account and CPD completion history for as long as your account is active, since your certificate and completion record may be needed for future revalidation. If you delete your account, we retain minimal records as required for legal, accounting or regulatory purposes, and delete the rest.

Depending on where you're located, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. We'll respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Service is intended for veterinary professionals and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
